Plans afoot for construction of desalination plant, borewells, says Puducherry Chief Minister

Steps are being taken to establish the plant this year itself, the CM said in the Assembly. He further said experts were studying the pattern of tides along Puducherry’s coastline before deciding on constructing the plant
