EC row: ‘CEC should be tried for treason,’ says Priyanka Gandhi

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday said that if Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar allowed elections to be rigged, it amounted to “treachery with the nation” and “an act of treason”. She added that he should face a trial for treason and be criminally prosecuted just like any other criminal.
