Watch: The growing safety concerns on Kerala’s NH 66

Eight engineering students from Dindigul were killed in a crash on Kerala’s under-construction NH 66 in Thrissur. The tragedy has renewed concerns over highway safety, with motorists and residents pointing to poorly marked diversions, inadequate lighting, unsafe parking and weak work-zone management across several stretches. The NHAI and other agencies have since inspected the accident site and identified safety issues.
